This genuine Verdict screw-in stylus features our world-famous pear-shaped end, invented by Verdict. The pear-shaped end allows for massively greater ease of use and much more accurate results over a greater range of user applications.

With the pear-shaped contact instead of a spherical end, the point of contact between the stylus and the workpiece remains constant and provides exact measurements at a wide reading angle from 0 to 36 degrees.

Constructed of high-grade steel, expertly finished and polished to provide precise measurements and long-lasting usage in all types of engineering or workshop environments.

Your Verdict dial gauge indicator will provide an exact reading through a greater range of possible user-error or situation complications using the pear-shaped stylus. The pear-shaped end does not need to be consistently or entirely engaged parallel to the workpiece, as this special stylus removes possible or likely cosine errors.
